Guess what?! I did something crafty. Don't die of shock!!!
I was getting really frustrated recently with my jewelry, because my necklaces were always in a tangled up knot in the little box I kept them in. (Ok - let's be honest. It was about a year ago, and I just got around to doing this.)
I had the idea to hang them on a board in my bathroom to keep them straight and separate.
I bought a cheap bulletin board and spray painted the frame white. Since I was going to be covering the board itself, I didn't worry about overspray. Quick and done!
Then I covered the board in some fabric I had. I had to staple it to the front side of the board, because I did not have the foresight to see if the frame was removable. It wasn't. Ideally, you will want to wrap the fabric around and staple it to the back side before putting it in the frame. However, since I did not have that option and I was too cheap to start over, you can see my staples. Bummer.
Once that was finished, I hung the board in my bathroom, and hung my jewelry with some cute jeweltone pushpins. Much better!
Total cost - about $6 plus some spray paint and fabric I already owned
